The promises of God are as solid as bedrock. By God’s Word, He promises to lead us, love us, and never forsake us. Christians should always be thankful, for whatever God promises shall come to pass. He makes His promises for His name’s sake, and therefore upon His own integrity. Praise God, Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:20 that all the promises of God are yes and amen in Christ.
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ. And so through him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20
Lord! Thank You for Your promises, for all of them shall come to pass. The Word of the Lord is established in the heavens and shall stand forever. What You promise us is as good as done. We thank You for all the precious promises given to Your people who look to You for our hope and our peace. Give us a greater understanding of Your mercy in these promises, that we might approach You with a deeper heart of love and gratitude. Amen.
