To say that David lived a full and interesting life may be a large understatement. This shepherd boy became king. The least in his family became the greatest in Israel. He faced danger and threats in many situations, from animals, Israel's enemies, and his own family. And whenever he recalled these experiences, he would pen a psalm that praises, thanks, and adores the God of his life.
The Lord is our strength, and all God does for each grateful child should evoke a deep sense of gratitude and overwhelming love for a Father who is ever faithful, kind, forgiving, and merciful. He will always show Himself strong to support us all through our journey on this earth.
