Such a fitting prayer to start or end any day, for we are never far from the brokenness and ugliness of the world. Praying these words, we seek eyes to see the brokenness, a heart to grieve it, and the will to act upon it. Yet, we must seek the Lord not just to know Him, but that we may share Him.
An instrument does nothing on its own; only in skilled hands does it produce the beauty it was made to create. So too, as God’s instruments, are we made to be used to bring forth His beauty.
