Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy. May Your healing hand rest upon me, may Your life-giving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring me to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

This prayer is more than asking the Lord Jesus for healing upon our bodies, but also upon our souls. Only Christ can heal a broken heart and bind up our spiritual wounds. Only the Lord can resurrect our souls to life everlasting. Christ has the power to quicken both the body and the soul, as He is the Lord of all life.
This prayer asks for His mercy to do so within us so that once our soul is reborn as a child of God, we can then have the health in our bodies to proclaim His name to the ends of the earth.
