Dear Lord
Help me remember what a difference it makes when I make time with You a priority in my morning. Awaken me in body and spirit each day with a desire to meet with You and to hear You speak words of affirmation, assurance, and wisdom over my heart as I prepare to go into my day.

Each day brings a unique blend of joy and sadness, success and failure, and ease and hardship. You may enjoy pure happiness, achievements, and relaxation on one day. But then, you might have to deal with the pains of disappointments, setbacks, or difficulties on another day. In all these moments, you need God to steady and strengthen your mind, heart, and spirit.
We'll find all we need to face each day when we make time with God a top priority. And a heart focused on the goodness and presence of our God will lift heavy clouds that may darken your day.
