God designed us to live in community with one another. And often in life, we encounter situations that require us to seek the help and influence of our community. Employment, mentorships, and even ministry opportunities often start with a personal connection. And because God works through people, we are wise to seek His leading in these interactions.
Creator God, you designed us for relationships, and I pray that you would lead me to the friendships that will fulfill your purposes in my life. Bring me into interactions with people of integrity that will be edifying to my character and beneficial to my work. Surround me with others who will encourage me in your ways. And help me see where you are using my friendships to open doors for me to find work and live out your purposes for me. And work through me, so that I may be a blessing to my friends as well. In Jesus’ name, amen.
When we ask God to open doors, He may answer through the people that we interact with.
