Alone With None But Thee, My God

Alone with none but thee, my God,
I journey on my way.
What need I fear when thou art near,
Oh king of night and day?
More safe am I within thy hand
Than if a host did round me stand.

We all experiences times when we feel alone. A fractured relationship, a disagreement where nobody sees our point of view, or a task with no one to help us. What a great comfort to know that with God, we are never truly alone. The people in our lives may let us down or turn away, but the Lord is steadfast and faithful. And in those times when it seems all others have left us, we can sing along with this prayer, reminded that One still remains with us, and let His the presence of His love drive out our fear.
